What we do

At hausmodern, we provide a selection of lovingly restored modern and mid-century modern furniture at great prices. In the process we reduce waste going to landfill, and avoid adding to the social and environmental issues associated with international manufacturing and shipping.

Many of us want to buy beautiful modern furniture, but it can be an expensive habit! Scouring online listings is time consuming, and meeting up with strangers can get weird. At the same time, too much good quality furniture ends up in landfill, when all it needs is careful restoration using traditional methods.
